Instructions

1. Introduction

This game can be used in several ways. It would work to reinforce learning in class, for small groups, centers, reteaching, or in a special education classroom. Students will solve addition problems within 10.

2. Game Rules

  • Students will pick a game piece. You can use the ones in the Cricut file or use eraser toppers or other small objects.

  • Players will spin the spinner (included) or roll a die. The student with the highest number gets to go first.

  • The first player will roll or spin and move that number of spaces, answering the math equation on the space. If the student gets it correct they stay in their spot if not they go back one.

  • Students will take turns until someone reaches the finish space.

Assessment

Students will say the answer to the math equation on the space they land. Other students can check each other if using it as a center.
