Learning Objective(s)

  • Students will be able to identify and match uppercase magnetic letters to their corresponding uppercase letters. 

  • Students will be able to match uppercase letters to their corresponding lowercase letters.

Materials Required

  • Red Cricut Permanent Vinyl

  • Yellow Cricut Permanent Vinyl

  • Green Cricut Permanent Vinyl

  • Blue Cricut Permanent Vinyl

  • Orange Cricut Permanent Vinyl

  • Purple Cricut Permanent Vinyl

Other tools and materials:

  • Transfer Tape
  • Magnetic Baking Sheet
  • Alphabet Magnet Letters

Instructions

  • Begin by cutting out all the different colors of vinyl and weeding.

  • Using transfer tape, transfer each color of vinyl to the baking sheet.

  • Repeat the above process for creating an uppercase to lowercase matching activity by using lowercase letters in Cricut Design Space.

Assessment

  • Students will complete a letter matching worksheet where they draw lines connecting uppercase letters to their lowercase counterparts. Successful completion will demonstrate mastery of the objective.
