Description of Cricut Lesson & Activity
Use these two models to learn about the shape of prisms and how flat planes can become a prism. One model is to glue together and keep as a 3D shape, and the other is to show how it can fold into the shape and unfold to a flat plane.

Materials Required

Cardstock in desired color.
Other tools and materials:

Scoring stylus or Scoring Wheel

Glue
Instructions
-
Cut out shapes and fold on score lines.
-
Fold and glue along tabs to create a solid shape.
Assessment
-
Students will create and present a 3D model of a prism using materials provided. They will also demonstrate how to unfold the model into a flat plane and explain the relationship between the flat shape and the 3D prism.
