Description of Cricut Lesson & Activity

Create this fun weather chart to use all school year to teach about the weather and keep track of the season. Have fun dressing up the little bears each day to help teach students what to wear for different types of weather.

Learning Objective(s)

Materials Required

  • White Cardstock

  • Black Cardstock

  • Red Cardstock

  • Orange Cardstock

  • Yellow Cardstock

  • Green Cardstock

  • Light Blue Cardstock

  • Dark Blue Cardstock

  • Purple Cardstock

  • Light Purple Cardstock

  • Pink Cardstock

  • Light Brown Cardstock

  • Medium Brown Cardstock

  • Dark Brown Cardstock

  • Cream Cardstock

Other tools and materials:

  • Glue
  • Printer
  • Optional: Lamination Sheets

Instructions

  • Start by loading in the cardstock to your machine, and cutting all of the different colors of cardstock.

  • Glue and piece together all of the bear outfits, seasons, and the poster.

  • Optional: Laminate all of the pieces, use clear velcro dots or poster sticky tack to stick the pieces to the poster.

Assessment

  • Students will create their own weather chart that includes drawings and labels for at least three types of weather (sunny, rainy, snowy, etc.) and present it to the class.
